DESCRIPTION

Born in Durban and residing in Cape Town, Nick is a true testament to South Africa’s emerging music talent. After an introduction to a set of drums at the age of 7 he has continually immersed himself in a wide array of musical styles and genres. It was during his early teenage years that he was exposed to the electronic scene and began experimenting with music production software instead of paying attention to school work. This nonetheless led to him identifying his dreams of pursuing a career in the industry and now defines his everyday life.

It was his addictive brand of bouncy Fidget & Electro house productions combined with his energetic DJ sets that stirred massive hype and quickly earned him respect, and at the tender age of 17 was permanently booked to play around the country and soon following, globally. Nick soon branched out into all aspects of the music industry, with hugely followed event brands ‘Get Dumb’ & ‘Butterbox’ as well as founding his very own record label ‘Static Jack Recordings’.

Through this he has defined a unique combination, a fresh, experimental & feel good musical side, released under the alias, and his real name, ‘Nick Christy’, it cannot be confined to any existing genre and is a sure showcase of his boundary-less creativity. Thus leaving his “Nick Supply” alias for Techno / Tech House releases and DJ sets. He draws his creative inspiration from his love for the outdoors and when not in studio he is pursuing the second love of his life chasing waves around the country.

Rare talent, top class production, energetic DJ sets and an infectious personality have quickly earned Nick massive respect and an ever growing loyal fan base both in South Africa as well as across the globe. Watch this space in the near years to come...
